What are we going to do
We are planning to turn one acre of derelict light industrial land in the Park Wood Estate, Maidstone, into a community-transforming resource, offering:
- Office space
- Lecture halls
- Meeting rooms
- Training facilities available for hire to local businesses
- Mentoring and life skills suites
- Function rooms for the local community, available for hire to local businesses
- Dedicated space for established charities and“start-up” businesses
- Stylish refreshment area providing teas, coffees and light snacks to the building users
- Internet cafe providing local access to internet services
Externally the plot has become overgrown and neglected. Jubilee Resource Hub will refurbish the buildings to a high standard, provide good parking facilities and landscape externally to create an attractive facility.
